“Hello all of you younger ones!! So it’s Sunday Morning which means it’s time for Making Waves Kids Club.
Today’s Bible reading is on John 11:1-45 and we are going to focus on Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead. Check out the video for the story. Mary and Martha were frightened and upset because Lazarus was very sick, they sent for Jesus but before he arrived Lazarus died. Jesus told Mary and Martha that Lazarus would come back to life and he did. Amazing!
Craft Activity: Create a tomb out of paper and card and draw your own picture of Lazarus then wrap him up in some strips of kitchen rolls.
Jesus spoke of trusting him especially when things go wrong, when you are upset or frightened. Think of times when you feel sad or frightened.
You might feel like that at the moment because life is so different.
Creative Prayer: Draw a flower, write Jesus at the centre and add around it all those things that you want Jesus to help you with. Put your trust in him!”
