Following on from yesterday’s announcement, we have further information regarding the next few week’s at St Andrews, as well as All Saints and St Peters:
Churches are still houses of prayer, and our church communities are still here to love you, pray for you, support you and offer you help in any way at this time.
These things will look slightly different for a while though, as:
The Church of England has asked us to stop holding public acts of worship for the time being. All public services / events / activities / meetings in church are therefore postponed.
NB Weddings/Funerals/Baptisms CAN still go ahead, but with due caution
We’ve been asked to keep the churches open at times for private prayer. Our churches will be open daily from Monday to Friday:
- All Saints’: 8-10am
- St Peters’: 12-2pm
- St Andrew’s: 4-6pm
You are warmly welcome to come at these times, but please follow up-to-date government guidance on social distancing. This includes staying in if you or a member of your household is poorly, washing your hands when you come in and staying at least 2m away from others.
We will be live-streaming prayers every day on our Facebook pages. Please get in touch if we can support you in any way at this time. Please call if you don’t have internet access but would like to chat or pray, or keep updated.
