On Saturday our curate, Reverend Catherine was part of a very special service at Chester Cathedral, as she became an ordained priest.

Alongside 17 fellow ordinands, the service was overseen by the Bishop of Chester.
A large number of the congregation from St Andrews attended the service, on a day of sunshine in Chester. The setting of this fantastic Cathedral was perfect for such a fabulous service.
Rev Catherine then went on to preside over her first service of Holy Communion at St Andrews on Sunday morning at 9.30am.
A massive congratulations to Catherine, and we look forward to her leading many more services!
